Some people think stamps are obsolete! Although we live in an ever-increasing digital world, where emails and instant messages make up much of how we communicate, sometimes, you may still need to mail a letter.

ReceiptPal is an awesome app that will pay you for uploading a photo of your receipt. This is another good way to make your shopping cheaper, so when you come to buy stamps, make sure you use ReceiptPal and make some money back.

There are lots of places to get stamps for cheap. Give these a try, and remember to keep our tips in mind like signing up for Swagbucks and using cashback sites if you want to save even more or even get your stamps for free!

Small businesses shipping a few packages can print and pay for postage online. Larger shippers can apply for a permit imprint and save money with commercial rates. Other convenient postage options are postage meters, precanceled stamps, and custom stamps. USPS and third-party vendors offer a variety of ways to track and pay for postage.

If you're a large volume mailer, using a permit imprint to make postage payments, you don't have to buy postage in advance, reset your meter, or affix stamps. Simply print postage information in the upper right corner of the mailpiece and only pay for postage when mailings are sent.

There you have it, the ten cheapest places to buy stamps. Be sure to take advantage of membership discounts and rewards programs to save even more money on your stamp purchases. And if you really want to save, try to get your stamps for free!

Once opened, officers found poor print-quality U.S. postage stamps. One package included 200 Forever Stamps with a declared value of $10. Forever Stamps cost $0.63 each, and had this package been genuine, would cost consumers $126.

Buy stamps before they increase in price. To find out when the next postage increase will be, visit Forever Stamp Value. You can even sign up to get notified by email when the next price increase will occur.

One of the easiest ways to buy postage stamps online is, in our opinion, through Stamps.com. Stamps.com is one of the most popular sources for printing exact postage for letters and packages. Their web-based software is intuitive and gives you access to discounted postage rates.

Buying stamps from Costco is as simple as taking a trip to your local Costco Warehouse. To find out where your local store stocks stamps, you can call ahead or simply ask a Costco employee when you arrive. Unfortunately, Costco does not sell stamps online.

Postage systems can also calculate the exact postage costs. Handily, most have a weighing scale included, which removes the risk of over or under paying, making them far more reliable than traditional stamps.

Many machines can process over 100 letters each minute and, due to reduced rates for metered mail, the postage paid on each item works out slightly cheaper than it would be if a stamp was used.

Forever Stamps are postage stamps issued by the USPS. They are non-denominational, which means they will always be worth the current postage rate. However, you must remember that the rate covers the first ounce. If your envelope weighs more than one ounce, you will have to pay more per ounce.

Using stamps can be tricky, but you do not have to be frustrated. You can use the stamp cost guide above to calculate postage, or you can use the USPS postage calculator to determine the cheapest combination of stamps for a letter or package.

Whether you are sending a letter or a postcard, you can rest assured that Postalytics can help you organize your mail and provide the best postage rates on the market. You do not need stamps with our online mailing service because postage is included in our prices and our postcards and envelopes are prestamped.

Consider cheaper packaging options where possible as well. For example, packing peanuts are cheaper (approximately $2.70 per cubic foot) compared to bubble wrap (approximately $4.92 per cubic foot). Newsprint is cheaper still at approximately $1.08 per cubic foot. Bubble mailers are an affordable all-in-one solution that can protect delicate shipments.

Postage stamps are not offered via Mail Services as we process our outbound mail through a postage meter machine (please take that under advisement if you are sending postcards through the mailroom). If you seek stamps, please contact and/or visit any of the local stores around WSU that offer them. These include:

Note that these are not Forever Stamps, which means that when the Postal Service changes its rates, you will need to print postage correction stamps to use with the older stamps you have already printed. This is just as easy as printing regular stamps.

We are specialist philatelic buyers and sellers of GB postage stamps to individuals and businesses. Excellent customer service is what we are about with super fast dispatch of orders. If you regularly use postage stamps and want to make big savings then we can help. All British decimal postage stamps issued by the Royal Mail from 1971 (start of decimal currency) to present day are legally valid to be used as postage so long as they have not already been through the postal network e.g. it is illegal to sell or use unfranked stamps which have already been used on letters and packages. We only purchase MINT decimal stamps from trusted and reliable sources therefore everything we sell is fully valid for postal use in the UK. We only sell stamps with full original gum sourced from stamp collections, professional stamp dealers and leading auction houses in the UK and Europe. We are well known in the Philatelic Trade and publish our GB postage buying prices in leading philatelic trade and stamp collecting publications, and on our website BUYING PRICES. We stock pretty much every decimal postage stamp the Royal Mail have ever issued. Values range from 1p to 10 and everything in between. However, not all of the stamps we buy are sold on as postage. We are now finding that a growing number of more recent stamp issues are becoming collectible, which is how it should be. As a result it is getting much harder to buy some of the more popular stamps and booklets at any discount to face value, especially when collectors are willing to pay a premium over face value. Collectible stamps can be found in our eBay Shop.

Skip the long lines at your local post office by ordering Christmas postage stamps online! Postage can be ordered from the following online vendors, though each have their strengths and weaknesses regarding price, selection and shipping speeds. Stamps can be purchased in sheets of 20 featuring a handful of designs and are valid postage for all 1 oz envelopes. (Rolls of holiday stamps are not available).

There was an official USPS store on eBay where you could pay the same prices as you will at your local post office but they removed all of their products in late 2020. Alternatively, Ebay also offers Christmas stamps sold by individuals and businesses from both current and previous years making it the best place to find older Christmas stamps as well as affordable ones that have recently been issued.

Minted had sold postage in three different face values ($0.63, $0.87 and $0.48) which are not offered by the USPS for their holiday designs. Now there are no holiday-themed stamps available for postcards, 2 oz letters or square envelope Christmas mailings.

Since Shutterfly is a popular choice for printing Christmas photo cards, in the past they offered custom holiday postage stamps to compliment their holiday cards. But after the USPS ended it's custom postage program in the summer of 2020, you can no longer purchase postage from Shutterfly.

Also for just a tad bit more (85% of face) we can make you packets of 60 combinations if you just send letters and bills with it. (Or any other combination you want). We also sell vintage postage for wedding invitations. Email ishop@worldwidestamps.com to discuss specifics on wedding postage.

Postal inspectors said they are "aware of an increase in suspected counterfeit stamps offered for sale with many being offered on online platforms and websites," per The Washington Times. According to the newspaper, social media and email advertisements for "discount postage" surged in December but have continued into the new year. Various ads and websites are offering a variety of postage, all at supposedly discounted costs.

The USPIS warns on its website that "purchasing stamps from a third-party wholesaler or online websites can be unpredictable," as there is no way for a consumer to verify whether or not a stamp is real themselves. This is why the law enforcement service arm advises that people only buy postage from Approved Postal Providers.

"Approved vendors can include legitimate 'big box' or warehouse retailers who do provide very small discounts on postage stamps, but this is through resale agreements with the Postal Service," the USPIS explains.
